I had a great birthday yesterday.. and it spilled into today. Here are some highlights. Jenn and Jen made me treats. The girls got me a cut and color and gc. Then we went to lunch at Red Robin. Rick and I and Tanner went to Buffalo Wild Wings and they got me a photo key chain and 2 seasons of Ace of Cakes!

Today I got an AWESOME cheesecake from Jamie and Michele and my favorite Candle scent from Gold Canyon. And a super cool candle holder. I got some cash from my beloved parents and grandma! I am taking it on vacation! And my lead Linda got me a gift card from Red Robin!

Thursday we are headed to Colorado at noon... so I will have pics and posts when we are back.. mostly likely on the 4th..

Graduation

We went to the Kids party at the Arboretum. It was alot of fun. He got to play some games, get pics taken with Elmo, Spiderman, Shrek. he got to watch the big Koi fish being fed! And his favorite. Eat cotton candy! It was a nice Spring day.

Tonight he has Soccer Practice.

We have been busy getting stuff ready for the big trip to Colorado! On Monday Tanner has Kindergarten registration.. he is very excited to see what his classroom will look like. His buddy Jack will be there too!

On the 5th.. Tanner had his first cavity filled by his new dentist.. Dr Mike. He did very well and Rick took him to the mall to see the pets and to the book store.

He had gymnastics this week and he did really well on his 1 handed cartwheel. They did rope climbing tho also.. and he doesn't like to go too high. That scares him. So he just went up a bit.

We still have not heard from his soccer team and therefore do not know what is going on. I have heard thru the grapevine that pics are on the same day as preschool graduation. So I am not sure what we are going to do there.

On Thursday he misplaced his hat again at school. NO MORE HATS TO SCHOOL! He can not keep track of his things. Hr cried and cried because it was his Lighting McQueen hat. We even had to go back to school and look for it. On Friday.... Will found it mixed in with the play clothes! Maybe that will teach him.. but I doubt it!

His T-ball game Saturday was rained out as it rained alot of the day on Friday. It was picture day.. so that has to be rescheduled. I hope they do not do it the night we are gone. Because then he wouldn't be in any of the pics.. for either of his sports! And we know how I feel about pictures!

He did still get to have Lane over on Saturday.. and they played hard for 4 hours. Then Tanner and I met Emma and Jamie at Borders. They had story time and made some mothers day crafts.

Today Tanner gave me a GC for Designworks for a haircut or something. Although he told my mom that he gave me a hundred dollars for a barber! We were also making my moms gift. We were making her a stepping stone. We made one for Papa about 3 years ago. But its not turning out so well. There was to much water and his hand print wouldn't stay .. so we are going to paint it instead! But it has to dry for a 36 hours... so Grandma is going to have to wait! :( We tried to do it.. and we kept having to clean Tanners hand off. I made him clean it off outside.. and the water was cold and he said.. its to cold. I told him there wasn't anything I could do about that. He then said.. Do you like seeing people in misery? WHAT.. he is 5 where did that sentence come from!

I just scrubbed the floors and vacuumed. I am hoping to sit down for a bit today as yesterday was busy,... as I also had to work a bit and place some emergency orders for some place that got hit by a tornado.

Maybe I will take a snooze outside!

Tanner did very well at his meet. He got first place. Granted there were only 2 boys in his division. But he was very proud of himself.. and we were proud of him. He said he was a little scard on the top of the podium tho.. he said it was very high! :)

So apparently I have taken a blog break.

Its been a busy Couple weeks.

4/20 Dentist appt.. only 1 cavity! Which is good considering his old dentist said he had 4. She is a quack. The amount of money we wasted ohhh.. i hate to think about it!

4/21 I had a KLYV party to go to to see if I could win Thomas the train prize package.. I did not win. But Michele and I had a nice time talking!

4/22 Gymnastics... more practicing routine!

4/23 got my new haircut :)

4/25 Bryans b-day party. Tanner had fun at mini golf... got a hole in one again.

4/28 We got new tires for the trip to Colorado.. Car is riding so much better!

4/29 Last gymnastics before the big meet!

4/30 Grocery Night

5/1 Tanner got to go to Kunde Farm for preschool and he got to ride Jack the horse. They also got to feed them and go on a wagon ride!

5/2 Tanners first T-Ball game... see pics above! He liked being the catcher! He looks so funny in the gear tho! It looks to big for him. It was a super nice day. Then I THOUGHT we had the gym meet. For some reason I thought it was on the 2nd. But right as we were getting ready to go.. I looked at the paper and read the 3rd.. A SUNDAY... oh man would we have looked dumb.. and it would have been my fault! So Rick and Tanner played outside.. rode big wheeler, played more t-ball. Mowed the grass! I bought a few books online to take with me on our trip to Colorado.

I hope to remember to update on Sunday and add pics of his meet.. maybe a bit of video.. no promises tho as Rick will be in charge of the video camera!
