Holiday Concert

Ok so it seems like I have not had time to do this for what seems like forever. For some reason I have been come extremely busy. Monday nights I have a boot camp class, Tuesday nights Tanner has gymnastics, Wednesday nights a lot of times we go to Grandma and Papa’s, Thursday is Yoga night. Then by the time the weekend rolls around I am tired from running. I have 2 weeks left of exercise classes left. I think that is what the issue is..2 nights a week I am coming home from work getting Tanner settled and supper.. and then I am running back to work, for class. I just can’t do 2 nights. We will be taking a break for a couple weeks I think .. so that’s good.

On the 4th we went to Jumpin Janes with Medline. Tanner had a ball. He loves that place.

Debbie at Gymnastics has been calling Tanner the Mayor since Mayor Buol is rerunning.. and there are signs all over the place. Tanner thinks she is silly.. but I do want one of those signs!

Tanner has been doing well in school.. and he has made a few funny comments that I have posted on Facebook.. but they are… I asked him what they sang in Music class one day.. and he said James Brown!

He also asked me what I was going to be for Halloween and I said a crazy mom and he said.. “ but you are that everyday! “ Hmmmm

The Merz Family came home a few weeks ago and we went out for pizza with them and also Tanner got t o go swimming 2 at their hotel. He was a crazy man in the pool. Going under water and stuff.. stuff that he never used to do. That’s good. Swim lessons finally paid off!

Last weekend we went to Bahl’s Pumpkin Patch on Saturday and then went to Borders Spooktacular Party. I think he really enjoyed both. On Sunday we trick or treated on the boat. It really didn’t take that long on the boat. They also don’t really get that much candy.. not that he really needs a lot… because he doesn’t.

On Tuesday I had a nightmare of a morning. It was the first day that we could get ADR’s (advanced dining reservations) for Disney. They went from taking them 90 days out to 180 days. So there were about 90 days worth of people wanting to make reservations and there whole systems.. phones and computers went down. I got up at 430 so that I could be at work at 530ish so that I could be on the phones right away at 6AM. Well I couldn’t get thru.. I tired at 558 and everything was fine.. and then at 6.. boom.. a fast busy signal.. or the famous.. all circuits are busy! Dad tried to call as well. He got thru 1 and they told him to call back as their computers are down. Well I finally got thru at 11:55. I was on the call for a total of 37 min. Most of it was hold time. I was so scared to touch my phone that I would hit the wrong button and it would hang up. She also put me on hold.. and I was scared she would accidentally hang up. But all was good and I got them all made.. and with barely a glitch. The only glitch was at the Canadian pavilion we have to sit at separate tables… well that’s ok as that is the 1 place that we all really wanted to eat at. We have heard awesome stuff about the steaks and the Beer Cheese Soup! So now everything is planned for the big WDW trip.. meals and all.

Tanner is collecting his Disney pins to take and trade with CM’s (cast members = workers) He is very excited about it. I am also turning his allowance money into Disney gift cards so he has some of his “own” money to take to spend what he wants on… and no questions asked by mom or dad! buo

Tanner then had gymnastics last night and he won a t-shirt for selling cookie dough! He was pretty glad.

Medline Picnic was lots of fun. It was nice to just sit and chat with Jamie, Kelly, Tony and Rick while the kids ran around and played. They all got tatoos.. which took FOREVER! I can not beleive they were that patient! The boys also jousted! The boys were running around (lucas, Tanner, Jack and Will) from blow up to blow up! They had a ball. And as usually Tanner cried and threw a fit when it was time to leave... but the party was over and blow ups were coming down! He was fiflthy and needed a bath.. so right when we got home.. into the tub he went!

So yep I took another blog break. Its been about a month. I am not going to attempt to go into detail on what happened in the last month.

Tanner is loving school and he really likes his teacher Mrs. Weber. He loves going to his Specials ( Music, Art and Gym) He is fitting in nicely at Eisenhower! He still hangs out with Jack at recess even tho they are not in the same class.

He has started taking gymnastics agian. He likes to go and see Debbie on Tuesdays. He is getting really good at his cartwheels. He can also almost do 1 armed ones!;

Jamie and I went to Scrapfest last weekend. We had tons of fun.. but man there were tons of lines and lots of just standing around. My legs hurt after the first day. I am hoping this is not how Disney World will be. We did pay for our airline tickets and booked our package. We have until 1/26 to pay it off. Anyway..back to scrapfest.. I love to look at all the new stuff at Archivers, what stinks is that I cant get it whenever i want. :(

We had Employee Appreciation week at work this week.. it is very tiring! I am totally worn out. I also started my second session of Yoga this week. I am also starting Body Boot Camp on 10\5. I am hoping all these things gets me in better shape for the big WDW trip since I know we will be walking alot and I need to be in better shape for that. Today... my hamstrings and legs are killing me from Yoga last night!

Sunday is our Medline Picnic! That is one of Tanners favorite days! He love the big blow ups, Cotton Candy, funnel cakes and TATTOS!

Well the Variety show is over.. thank goodness. I am so glad that I can focus on just my work.. :) It went really well... but what a relief!

Today was a big day.. Tanner went off to kindergarten. Yesterday we met with his teacher. He gave her his present and she seemed to like it. She went over the schedule and talked about what the kids would learn. It was very exciting. We then went to McDonalds and ate lunch. He fell asleep last night at 830 on the couch!

This morning when i work him up.. he got up right away! Although Rick and I did not! We slept thru the alarms as I had ear plugs in as Rick is still a bit sick and very loud! We still made it to Young Uns by 710. He got to eat breakfast there with Jack and Emma and Adelei. I saw the bus drive by my window at 815. I hope he is having a good time!

We went to the Milkwaukee Zoo with Grandma Di and Papa. We had lots of fun! We rode on the train (lame ride) and saw alot if animals.. no kolas tho!!! :( We did see everyone's favorites. But as usual.. they all seemed tired! and jusy layed around alot. Although the polar bear was doing alot of pacing.. He seemed mad! LOL

It was a nice drive up but on the way home it rained hard for a bit and made it hard to see to drive!

I also got my hair cut this week.. and colored.. it needed it bad! I am back to being pretty blonde right now!

Today we went to the pool... we had a nice time. We saw Janis and Sophia there and Tanner saw one of his YounUns friends there also. We spent about 2 1/2 hours there.. and Rick's back got fried.. and I got a little Tanner... LOL.

We are looking forward to going to the BIG waterpark next Saturday!!!

This week Tanner has his Sponge Bob art class. He is very excited about it!

We had lots of fun in Minnesota, and have spent the week catching up.

Tanner had fun tubing. The only issue he had was when Allie's tube came up over the top of the tube that Luke and Tanner were riding in. They all fell off and Tanner realized he was alone in the middle of the lake.. he started screaming .. and screaming "Daddy". When we got him back in the boat he wanted to go again. At least he didn't get scared and never want to do it again.

He jumped and jumped and jumped on the trampoline. It is one of his favorite things to do. He also played with the rabbits, got out about every toy that Sandy had, Played the piano. We went to eat and Culvers, a Mexican Restaurant (which was really good) had a cook out with Sharon & Al. We then went to MOA on Monday and spent about 4 or so hours there. We all went on the log ride together, Tanner had his face painted like Batman. It was a super fun weekend.

This week it has been super cold.. for July.... its only been in the 60s on some of the days!So of course this was the weekend of the Medline pool night :( It was only 67 on Saturday. But we went anyway.. Tanner had fun with Jack. I have found! That kids will swim no matter what. I just hope it isn't like this when we go to Lost Island!

HE PASSED!!!

So it took 3 times .. but he finally passed his swim lessons. He really has come far in the last 2 years.. from not wanting to even put his head under to now going under with no problem. His last teacher was AWESOME! Amy did a wonderful job and I thnk he learned alot from her. She also happen to be one of his aquatots teachers.

We also had soccer tonight.. it was a busy night. In the morning we are off to Minnesota.. so no posts till at least Tuesday! Hope to post pics then! He loves going to NicWorld and to play on the trampoline and Aunt Sandys and Unlce Johns!

We had a busy day yesterday. Tanner and Rick got haircuts, and Rick did somethings around the house. Tanner and I went out to Courtside to see the Golden Knights again and see the Chinok land. When we were driving out.. we saw the helicopter and I pointed it out to Tanner and said "hey there is thethe big helicopter" He then said.. MOM it isnt jsut a helicopter .. its a Chinok! Too funny! I guess he is right. We got to walk thru it after it landed. It really is just a big tin can.. but the cockpit was pretty cool.. so many buttons and switches!

After that we sat outside and watched the planes for the airshow go over. We then watched Daddy put on his display of fireworks for USA fireworks. The Rettenburgers and Kueters sat outside and watched too. It was a fun evening.

Last night after swim lessons we went up to Nativity Church and got to see the Golden Knights Parachute team jump in. We also got to look at and sit in some army vehicles. Tanner had a ball. He loved the Humvee and stuff. He also got his pic taken with a fella in the army and one of the members of the Golden Knights.
