Well I am not going to go thru all the horrible details of the ENTIRE family being sick off an don since the last time I posted, as it would be icky and I personally would rather not rememeber it!
I did think this was the weekend where we would be all well, but well Tanner decided to suprise us by getting the "runs" today! He feels fine but is using lots of diapers!
My hours are going to be changin at work I will now be 630-330. Which will be super nice in the Summer! Rick is going to work earlier also, but we will see how long that lasts or if he really comes home earlier.
Poor Rick was even sick on his B-day. He came home from work and stayed in bed the rest of the day and most of the night. He then stayed home the next day too.
Last night Dad won a big jackpot on the boat! We are all going to go to dinner sometime this weekend to celebrate! I think Grandma Anne sent it to him as he asked her for it and 2 spinners later he won! GREAT job Grandma! :)
At work today we heard that the family (that is who owns us) wants us (Dubuque Branch) to "teach" everyone in the company (about 3000 people) the F.I.S.H phillosphy
Wow how exciting is that! We have been doing this for about 3 years. We actually have kind of gone off track of it and made it our own. But our turn over rate is only about 8% which is EXTREMELY low for a call center and they want that to flwo thru the whole company! It's amazing that we have had that kind of effect on the Mills family!
Well I will be a better blogger.. hopefully there will be no more sickies! At least for a while!

Oh nooooo
I am still so sick. I have taken Nyquil the last 3 nights and I keep having awful coughing fits. I got sick at work twice while having a coughing fit. My nose is as red as an engine! I have to work Sat morning from 7-11... and I just want to lay in bed.
We did call Aunt Kim tonight and it looks like she may come and visit on Sunday. Tanner is very excited. He also asked to visit Grandma J on Sat... so they will prob do that while I am at work!

Bad days off!
Well lets see where to begin. Sunday Tanner woke up VERY sick. Its the worst sick he has every been. It is just a bad cold but he was feeling awful, very rough sounding cough. He didnt do much of anything and refused to put on underpants... so that was it for the training! Sunday night I started to feel sick! He ended up in our bed for some of the night as he could sleep well becasue of being so congested.
By Monday morning I flet like total crap! I got the bad cold and cough! Tanner was still sick. It was a fun day trying to watch him and be ill at the same time! Her only woke up twice inthe night which was better from before. He would not take any meds so I had to put it in his juice.
Tuesday I was totally down and out, and Tanner was starting to get his zip back.. still with a bad cough tho, very snotty! Then at lunch my mom called me to tell me that Dad failed his stress test and had to go and have another heart cath on Wed. Well Rick thought I should be going back to work on Wed anyway so I called and said I wouldnt be coming back till Thursday.
Today I feel a bit better but this cough is awful it so hurts! Dads surgery went well , they found a blockage in an artery from his heart to his Kidney! So they ballooned and put a stent in. He was able to come home tonight. I just went and picked them up!
It was a hell of a 4 days and I would LOVE to spend the next 24 hours in bed... but thats not going to happen.
Positive thing for the day.. I got my wishblade ordered!
Next thing to sell is the Sidekick!

1 out of 3 :(
Well it didnt start off so good. He got up and eat breakfast and I changed his clothes. I put a pull up on him becuase I had to run to work and do payroll. I was worried Rick would forget to ask him to go. Well I was only at work an hour and when I got back he was practically asleep. Rick got him into to bed. That was at 1130. I went and woke him at 4:00. I changed his clothes and he peed on the potty then. We put his big boy underwear on, and 45 min later he peed in them and on the floor. He freaked out and didnt want to put more underwear on. Well we finally got them on him again and we lasted until 8:00 till he peed again. I asked him about every 20 min if he had to go and he still peed. Well he has his jammies on now and a diaper :(

Here we go.........
Well it is Friday and that is good and bad! Saturday starts "Official" Potty training! But I am sure it will be a long process. Tanner has been so far ahead on others things that I am sure this is where he will lag behind. LOL . I went and bought more underpants tonight as I jsut think that he will keep peeing in them and I don't want to run out! I may have over done it as I have 21 pairs! I also bought some pull up for when he is taking a nap .. I am just not sure I want to keep doing sheets as well!

Lets see what's been happening
Ok.. Last thursday he got a haircut and we went and got groceries. He was a SUPER good boy for his haircut. Sat really nice and still and talked to the gal. We then went to Hyvee, and stopped in front of Michaels and he said "Oh no not this store" Hmm maybe I can't take himt here anymore!!
Friday Aunt Kim, Uncle Eddie and Kylie came to visit. We went to Marcos and had pizza. Well I ordered him a hamburger and FF but he ate dads pizza! Rick went to the Walhert game. Then every came to our house and Tanner showed off to everyone!!! Typical! Then when it was time to go... he said "NO Eddie stay and play toys!" HE also got more trains from Grandma Di today.
Casey also had a VERY bad Staph infection and had to go to the Doc multiple times!
On Sat it was Grandma J's birthday but she was a busy lady and we just talked to her on the phone. We were a bit lazy and did not do to much. I moved the old computer upstairs into my Scraproom so I can use it when I want. I also hooked it up to phone line internet! IT SUCKS it is sooooooooo slow. Glad I wont use it for that much! I am going to use it basically for the Wishblade cutter that I am saving for!
Sunday we went to Grandma J's and Walmart. He got Bulgie the bus at Walmart. We then took GrandmaJ out to diner at the Bridge. Tanner got Chicken strips and ate the entire thing!
Monday was back to work and I talke to about everyone in the place about Potty training. Then when we got home that night he said he wanted to go ont he potty( This he has said before and never went) so I took him in and he actually peed! So I told him we would buy big boy underpants.
Tuesday after work we went and bought the underpants (2 Thomas and an Incredibles) he had to have them on that night, and he peed in one. HE HATED it that he was wet. He wanted another pair on and that one stayed dry. Just a fart stain!
Today (wed) he potty at Grandmas once. So slowly but surely he is starting! I am off on Mon and Tues and hopefully we can speed things along! Tonight he is tired and may fall alseep early. He only had a short nap at Grandmas today!
So thats the week in a nutshell!

Not so Hot.
I havent been feeling well the past couple days. I have a bad sore throat. I think I cuaght something. I was pretty much on the down low at work and didnt stray from my desk. Thank goodness we could wear jeans on Wed. And thank goodnes Thursday is PJ day!
Tanner went to bed at 845 again last night. He plays hard and crashes fast! Papa bought him a mat for his Thomas trains and a new Thomas DVD. He was so excited.. talk about spoiled. He is to the core. But he is a good boy. He must have thanked Dad about 100 times when I was there and I wasnt there that long!
Well I am off to get some sleep and hopefully will fell better in the AM~

Hmm not doing so good.
I really have to get better at this. I wanted to write everyday or at least every other and I have been bad this week. I was even off on Wed and didnt. But that was because I was to busy watching QVC and being mad I wasn't rich so I could buy everything! I did buy the Lisa B albums and then also a Magnetic Stamp thing. I did also want the WORDS TO GO but I was to slow and didnt get them. But I was on a website ordering a new Album for my "Places we go" Theme and found the same words to go. Of course they were more.. so I didnt buy them all but I got a few.
Tanner is pretty much talking in full sentences now! He is such a Chatterbox! We had to take Jeannette's car home(she is sitting on a beach right now) and we talked all the way to her house and all the home NON STOP! He says the funniest things sometimes. The other day we were at the dinnertable and we were eating pizza and he stood up on his chair and held his hand int he air and said More Pepperoni! He even sounded Itlaian (which we aren't) it was so funny!
I am trying to get pictures ordered so I can do a page in review for 2004 and 2003! I am going to start with 2003 as that is when Tanner was born. I dont thing I need a bunch of years in review of Rick and I playing softball! LOL
The ad that we took at Scrapjammies is out! VERY VERY fun! I saw it today for the first time. I can't wait to see it on a full page! I am going to take it to work and show it off!
I had to work today! It was the big move! 160 people moving around the building to new desk! It actually went a lot better then I thought it would! I am not so sure how my team will like being upstairs. It is so dang HOT up there! But we are going to bring in a mine fridge! Because I am the laziest person and will hate having to run downstairs for stuff! Michele is being so nice to bring one in! I didnt sleep well last night as my cell phone rang at 3AM. I didnt even recognize the number! I hate that! So i took a nap today when Tanner did. It was great but I could have gotten some stuff done! OH well! Tomorrow is another day!
My shoulds still hurt form trying to move the recliner upstairs on Wed by myself! I dont know what I was thinking. I got it half way up and it wouldnt fit! So I had to take it back down! Then I took another chair up instead! Then rearranged the family room downstairs. Not to smart since I already had a bum shoulder. But Rick was really excited to see it! He loves having the extra chair upstairs!
We went to Target tonight and Tanner got 3 new Thomas Trains. He LOVES LOVES those things! Mom had gotten him 3 on thursday also! He is so spoiled! I will have to take some pics of him playing with them and get some Thomas paper to scrap with!
I did take a really cute pic of him on Friday. As soon as I get it donwloaded I will post it!

Weekend Update
Well Sat was a pretty lazy day. My headache finally had gone away, but since I hadn't slept well in a couple nights I took a nap when Tanner did!
We went over to Mom and Dads and had a fish fry and stayed and hung out for a few hours! Tanner LOVES to play with his Papa! He was pretty charged up! Running around like a mad man! He did have some fish whcih he said he liked until he saw French Fries and lost all interest in the fish!
He didnt go to bed until 1030. But then was up at 800 the next day. I went to work for the scrapbooking crop and about 12 people showed up. I was suprised it was that many. I compelted my Donna Donwny Assingment and a 6x6 Scrapjammies album. It was fun.
I then went to Jeannette's (Ricks Mom) and she had made dinner for us. She is getting ready to go oa trip.. somewhere tropical! Lucky her! Rick and Tanner spent the day there watching the Steelers beat the Colts and playing Tractors! Tanner did take a nap and slept "In Grandma J's big bed" When we got home I had an email from the Tax software I used that the IRS has accepted our return which means in 10 days we will have our Refund. Now if the stupid State could get their updates in we could get that one too!
Anyway work was slow today because of Martin Luther King day and all government offices were closed. I got a lot done their! Tonight we ate leftovers and Tanner and Daddy are playing trains.

TGIF
Thank God its Friday! I have had a headache for over 24 hours. Rick is proabbaly ticked as I left Tanner upstairs with him for over an hour now! But I jsut wanted to veg. I also had to set you the serect swap at SJ. I forgot about it! DUHHHH anyway its going now!
I did our taxes last night and turned them in. Just the Federal as I can not file online yet with the state! I wanted to get them in ASAP because Rick wants to get going on plane tickets. I also paln on paying off a couple of CC with it.
Sat is the Fish fry and Sunday is our big crop at work. It is suppossed to be nice out all weekend.. it the HIGH 40's. Yesterday it was 51.. way nice out.
Tanner has been an eating machine lately.. he had a hamburger at moms at 430 and then came home and ate a whole plate of spagetti.
Well I am off to lay down and get rid of this headache.!!!!

Good Day
Its been a day or so and my goal was to do this everyday but was busy.. tired.. ect ect, you know the drill. Tuesday Tanner did not nap at all... so he was exetremly crabby when we got home, but still didnt want to sleep. Finally at 830 he was so tired he was just out. A bomb could have went off next to him and he would not have woken up. I was so involved with that that I forgot to register for Jammie Crop. When I rememebered it was to late for that night.. and sent a rushed email to Leslie. She did call back today and I am good to go.
I need to get the $$ back into the savings account, so I hope there are plenty of people wanting to take the classes I am teaching at work. That will help out. I am excited that next week I should be able to get my taxes turned in and since I am finally going to do it online I can get them back even faster, as we also will have to buy plane tickets soon for Colorado. May is going to be a busy month!!!
I am so excited to see the gals from Jammie crop again! It was awesome how great we all got along!
Today at work there was a lot of commotion about who's team who was going on, and I had a coupld of people say that were sad to be going off my team. That does make me feel good, especially when it was people I wasn't sure that they enjoyed my team! It will be nice to have a fresh start their tho.

Not much
We had a pretty quiet Friday and so far Saturday. We stayed home and played with Tanner, He really loves playing with his matchbox cars. He plays quietly for sometimes 15 min! LOL
He really is a sweet boy, sometimes just out of the blue he will say "love you mama" and come an give me a hug and a kiss!
At mom's he found out that Dad's name is Bill. He was walking around yelling "Bill Bill where are you" He was in the bathroom and Tanner started knocking on the door and say "hey Bill" Well when Dad came out he Tanner said "Hi Bill" and Dad said.. "Um I am Papa to you!" That is typcial Tanner... he sometimes calls us Rick and Dana.. then he giggles.. cause he knows he isn't suppossed to!
Tanner took an almost 4 hour nap and I was able to clean the closet in the hallway and my Scrap cabinet. I made some room! But not to buy more stuff to organize what I have. I also finally got my avatar up and running on both WT and SJ.... I don't know why I have a hell of a time with those!
